CommUNIty
Where this all began.
CommUNIty was born from a simple belief: knowledge has the greatest value when it is shared. In partnership with Bournemouth University, we bring the university and the wider community together, opening doors to knowledge, ideas and experiences through free Discovery Talks, activities and events that inspire people to learn, connect and discover something new.
At its heart, CommUNIty is about creating stronger, happier and more connected communities, where people feel they belong and where learning brings generations and different walks of life together. Our Discovery Series is inspired by the principles of Harmony, exploring our relationship with ourselves, with one another and with the world around us and encouraging wellbeing, understanding, connection and care for the places we call home. It was this same belief in the power of connecting people, knowledge and place that inspired the evolution of Community Connect.
